Gameplay Overview

In Classic Klondike Solitaire, your goal is to build four foundation piles (one for each suit) from Ace to King. Here's how it works:

  1. The game starts with 28 cards dealt into 7 tableau piles, with the first pile having 1 card, the second having 2 cards, and so on. Only the top card of each pile is face-up.
  1. The remaining cards form the stock pile, which you can draw from one at a time.
  1. You can move cards between tableau piles following these rules:
  • Cards must be placed in descending order (King to Ace)
  • Cards must alternate in color (red on black, black on red)
  • You can move a sequence of cards if they follow these rules
  1. When you complete a sequence from King to Ace of the same suit, you can move it to one of the four foundation piles.
  1. The game is won when all cards are successfully moved to the foundation piles in order from Ace to King.
